War children find new home at schools

	DHRUBA DANGAL JIRI (Dolakha), Aug 31:Whenever anyone asks him about his father, 12-year-old Sudip Shrestha promptly replies that he was a ´comrade´ or ´great martyr´. The minor child does not know the proper meaning of these terms, but he knows one thing for sure: his father is no more in this world. The unexpected death of his father was a tragic turn in his life. Suman Shrestha, a Maoist combatant, died in battle during the decade-long insurgency. Soon after the death of his father, Sudip´s mother abandoned him to his fate and married another man.

बुधबार शक्ति समूहकी संस्थापक सदस्य चरीमाया तामाङको दिमागमा १६ वर्षअघि संस्था दर्ता गर्न काठमाडौं जिल्ला प्रशासन कार्यालय पुग्दा त्यहाँका अधिकारीले भनेका तिखा बचन फिल्मका ‘रिल’ झैं फनफनी घुमे । सरकारले समेत नपत्याएको यही संस्था शक्ति समूहले एशियाको नोवेल पुरस्कार मानिने म्यागासेसे अवार्ड पाउने घोषणा भएको छ ।
